Bowen is so amazing, the healing energy works the same way for humans as it does for animals! Bowenwork for Anmals treats the body as a WHOLE, bringing the body and mind back into BALANCE. Animals learn to trust the effects of Bowen and are often very excited for their next session.

Animals can often injury themselves while running, jumping, or twisting. When there is a strain or injury, muscles are under stress, compensation patterns begin to develop as the body holds itself differently to avoid pain. It can put added stress on the animal which can sometimes result in nervous or behavioral issues. A Bowen session will bring your animal’s mind, body, and spirit back into balance.

Before a session begins it is important to get the animals consent. When you establish a connection between the animal and practitioner you then have a form of communication and trust. In this way, the treatment can have the most benefits. 

Bowen for Animals is a series of small precise moves over muscles, tendons, ligaments, and nerve pathways. After each series of moves there is a pause in order for the body to process those moves.  After a session your animal might be tired and sleep more than usual. The body is healing; it might take a day or two for your animal to return to their normal activity.
